How The Sound Of Sea Animals killed Toronto

Hey folks,
most of you already know that I play in more than one band. Actually, I play in 4 bands at the moment: Half Baked (my main project)/ The Sound Of Sea Animals (which is the main project of Etienne Chan Kane)/ Brigitte Bordel (franco garage-rock band led by the one and only Pierre-Antoine Von Gogol)/ Digit:Missile Command (my solo project, my laboratory. mostly electronic and noisy)

Alright, now everyone knows. And it just happens that all 4 bands are doing well, which makes every weekend look like Pop Montreal. This upcoming weekend, for exemple, Half Baked will be playing at Rancho Relaxo in Toronto on Friday. Then The Sound Of Sea Animals will play at Cabaret Juste Pour Rire in Montreal on Saturday night. Luckily, we open. That will give me enough time to run to L'Escogriffe, where Brigitte Bordel will be playing. Crazy nights, fun life.

Last week was kind of like this one. Half Baked played in Valleyfield on friday, and the Sound Of Sea Animals played in Toronto saturday night. Both nights were equally fun and totally different, but there was a common thing: we killed. Killing a crowd is a fun thing to do, and you never really can predict when it's going to happen. So when it happens two nights in a row, you kind of feel like you are doing something right. I hope next weekend will be as good as the last one.

There is no such thing as "bloggers" in Valleyfield, so I don't have any proof of what happened friday night. It was fun times I swear! But in Toronto, it's a big city.
